On June 3, Hyundai Motor posted a trailer for “For Tomorrow We Won’t Wait”, a film about hydrogen, which is scheduled to be released on Saturday, June 5.
The film features BTS and promotes the gas as a fuel.
In this film, BTS’s RM (Namjoon) discusses hydrogen’s eco-friendliness and how safe and clean it is, along with other band members and an assortment of youth.
The company says the film will make a case for the use of hydrogen to reduce carbon emissions by 6 million tons by 2050, arguing that even the smallest use of the gas will help achieve the objective.
The full-length film will be available on YouTube on June 5th at 12 PM Korea Standard Time.
Under the slogan “Because of you”, Hyundai Motor and BTS have been running a global campaign since last year to raise awareness about the environment and hydrogen as a clean energy.
Hyundai Motor and BTS “because of you” clip on YouTube promoting hydrogen has garnered more than 100 million views last year.
The seven-member boy band attended the Grammy Awards earlier this year arriving in a Hyundai Motor hydrogen-powered Nexo SUV in Los Angeles.
Hyundai Motor is by far the world’s largest manufacturer of hydrogen-powered vehicles.
